Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on March 15 that the government had understood well the message of the massive protest held on that day in Belgrade and it would have to change something.

"As far as policy goes, we are doing well, regardless of what all this cost, how much money was invested. We have understood the message well and all people in the government have to understand the message when they have this number of people rallying, and we will have to change ourselves and learn a lot from it. On the other hand, I hope others have understood too that the majority of Serbia does not want a color revolution," Vucic told a news conference held at Serbia Palace, in New Belgrade.

Vucic said he was confident that, if elections were held today, he would "beat the opposition in an even bigger landslide than in the previous" vote, and that he was always ready for a check of his own legitimacy. He went on to say that it remained to be seen if it was true that someone had planned to execute a coup at the protests in Belgrade.
