NCBIS Dutch Stream: bilingual education in Cairo

Read this announcement in Dutch

The Dutch Stream is part of New Cairo British International School in New Cairo. NCBIS is a school for education from Nursery to British Secondary Education (IB and A-levels). We offer bilingual Primary education for group Peuters (Nursery) until Group 8. After Group 8, our students move into the British Secondary School of NCBIS where they have the option to follow lessons in Dutch language and culture.

The unique cooperation with the British section of the school allows us to teach our pupils in two main languages: Dutch and English.

Our school operates under the inspection of the Dutch Ministry of Education and the inspection of British Schools Overseas (BSO).

25 years of experience with this unique set up of our school has proven that our students are prepared for a seamless transition in both Dutch and English based education systems in other schools and higher education.

De Dutch Stream offers:

  • Small groups, facilitating ample individual attention;
  • A creative, yet rigorous, approach focusing on learning enjoyment;
  • Specialist teachers for subjects such as music, PE and IT;
  • A beautiful campus with a sports field and swimming pool;
  • Lessons according to the Dutch and British curriculums;
  • Possibility to follow Dutch language and culture as an extra subject in Secondary;
  • Entry to nursery from ages 2 and half upwards;
  • Students’ progress is monitored using authorised Dutch and British pupil monitoring systems.

Please contact Olga Kes, teacher and school leader of the Dutch Stream to make an appointment to visit our school.
